Leaders unit people

The book of Proverbs shed a very important light on leadership. Here are a few verses:
It’s selfish and stupid to think only of yourself and to sneer at people who have sense.
Proverbs 18:1
Just as iron sharpens iron, friends sharpen the minds of each other.
Proverbs 27:17
An ancient Proverb says, “an isolated man/woman seeks out his/her own desires (or can be translated: destruction), he/she breaks out against all sound judgement.”
Isolated men/women create chaos. Their names litter the headlines, our prisons, and our neighborhoods. Men/women who shoot up movie theaters, live a double life, or simply escape to a virtual world after work.
As a leader, you have a duty to bring people together. Although technological advances have made the world a global village, it has also made it a global prison. More and more people are unable to build meaningful relationships.
It’s time for you and I to lead this generation into a brighter future.
Africa is one of the continents where brotherhood and sisterhood flourishes. We were born in communities, we grew up and thrived in communities. Let’s not allow technological advancement to deprive us of the one thing that has kept this continent alive with possibilities for thousands of years.
Go and lead!!!
