Use your gifts today

Romans 12:6 “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;”

There is a type of cell in the body that does not care about other cells around it; all it does is feed itself so that it can grow. This cell is called cancer. This is what happens when a Christian studies the word but refuses to share it with others. I have come across many believers who have a deep knowledge and insight of the word of God but they will not dare go out and preach to anyone. They own the latest CD or DVDs, they have books from famous preachers and they even attend crusades but they have never shared their testimony or gifts with anyone. This should not be your life. Become a champion of the gospel.

When I meet people, I am always eager to share my faith with them so that there will be a demand placed on my gifts. If there is no demand placed on my gifts, I cannot increase my gifts. God only increases gifts and talents where there is a demand for those gifts and talents.

This is the reason many gifted people do not excel in life, it is because that have not learned to use faith and let their gifts work for them. The word translated as “gifts” is the Greek word “charismata”, which refers to “that which has been bestowed gratuitously.” In other words, it wasn’t earned and isn’t deserved; it was simply imparted out of benevolence. The gift of God in your life is an act of trust from God. He gave you the gift to use it in the body of Christ and to bless the world. Use it today and let angels celebrate your presence here on earth. There is a set time to release your gifts and this time is today. Arise; shine for the light is come.

Prayer

Father, I am forever thankful for the gift of God in my life. There is a demand for the gift in me and I release those gifts this day. Take control of the ministry that you have called me into in Jesus’ name; Amen.

With love,
