The Purpose of Wisdom – Connecting the Dots

Life is all about connecting the dots. You might be unique but your story is not unique. The challenges that you have been facing is not unique.
You may not be a Bible believer and might have stumbled on this post, I encourage you to consider what I am about to say.
If you are a Bible-believing Christian, I encourage you to pay close attention to this revelation. It will transform your life.
The Bible teaches us that the wisdom of God has been woven into the universe. This means that if we carefully study how the universe operates, we will undoubtedly gain God’s wisdom. This is why the Bible does not start with a proposition to prove the existence of God. The Bible starts up with the assumption that God already exists.

Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters”.

The scripture passages above does not try to prove the origin of God or to state where God came from. It starts by saying that “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth”. It starts with a statement of fact and describes God in relation to the creation of heaven and earth. We are first introduced to God as someone who creates things. This is the wisdom of God in operation. The skilfull abilities (known as the “chokmah” in Hebrew).

Wiasdom - Connecting the dots - Pastor Ran

A few years ago, a lady approached me to pray for her about her relationship. Her life was falling apart because the father of her kids had moved out with another woman. She wanted to engage in a new relationship with a new man and wanted God’s mind concerning her problem. I advised her to take a year off and focus on her children. I instructed her that the wisdom of God required that she does not get into any relationship as it would not end well.
The lady didn’t take my advice and she ended in a relationship with this new man which ended up very badly for her. A few years later, she confessed that she made a serious mistake and her life was in ruins.
How did I know that it was a bad decision to jump into another relationship without seeking the mind of God? I discovered this wisdom when I observed how God created human beings. In creating humans, God made it that when a person undergoes serious trauma, he becomes unconscious. God made man to become unconscious when traumatized because He did not want human beings to make decisions for themselves. If a person, who is traumatized, was conscious, he/she would exacerbate his/her injuries.
This is the same with your emotions. When faced with an emotional trauma such as separation with a loved one, this causes emotional trauma. The best thing to do is to stop making big decisions when emotionally traumatized.
This wisdom has been woven into the design of the human body by God and we can tap into His wisdom to live better lives. God created rest as a war strategy. Just taking a year off from making huge decisions after a traumatic situation could save your life and those around you. God’s wisdom is present around us every day. If we only took the time to carefully consider the beauty of the universe and the immense wisdom that it has, our lives would be the sweetest experience. May the wisdom of God overtake you this month in the name of Jesus.

Father, thank you for imparting to me your wisdom. The universe proves that you are God. I have been endowed with your skilful abilities to excel in life. My path is forward ever because of your wisdom in my life in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

With love,
