Jesus was the word of God wrapped in human clothes

The fundamental reason why Jesus was sent into this world was to give the word of God a “character”. This means that the word of God will be given a name and an expression on which we can lay claims on. This is why at the end of His mission, the Bible says Jesus received a name or character that is above any other name.

John 1:10-12 “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came to his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”

The word of God was given a personality in Jesus. The word of God was given life in Jesus and the word of God was given vital power through Jesus. Let me put this into context. If someone was sick and the Prophet wanted God to intervene, the Prophet would have to quote the portion of scripture that justifies the healing of this person.

However, after Jesus came into the earth, we no longer need to justify the healing. We can use the name of Jesus and it will have the same power as quoting the entire scripture. You do not need to be eloquent or be a scholar of the Torah, all you need is faith in the name of Jesus. Miracles will pop everywhere when you release the name of Jessu.

Prayer:

Father, I thank you for sending Jesus into this world. We celebrate the power and the miraculous presence of Jesus. Through faith in the name of Jesus we are healed today. I speak open doors in Jesus’ name; Amen.

May you have a Merry Christmas 2017.

With love,
