Seek refuge in the Lord

When soldiers are sent to war, the first thing that happens is that they determine an area where they will all camp. This area is their command center and it is from their camps that they receive instruction.

Psalms 91:9-10 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation; there shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.”

This is what the Bible verse above is saying to us today. As you meditate on the word of God, you are making the Lord your camp; no calamity, sickness, mischief, distress, adversity or affliction will befall you. This is why you should never take a holiday from the word of God. The enemy comes with pressure and puts that pressure on your mind; he afflicts you with sickness and all types of diseases; but if you put your trust in the word, they will not come close to you.

I made up my mind to choose what gets into my mind because the enemy is after the mind. All forms of sicknesses and afflictions always come through the mind. The enemy paints pictures of these evils in the form of words; if you accept his picture, you are bound to be afflicted. Instead of focusing on the pictures that the enemy pains about you, meditate on the word of God which is the mirror of God. There is a hedge of protection that is around you; the enemy cannot come close to you because of this hedge of protection. The only way that hedge can be broken is through negative confession.

Prayer:

Father, I thank you because I have been protected from the crown of my head to the soul of my feet. There is a hedge of protection that always goes where I go. teach me your ways and send angels to encamp every member of my family in Jesus’ name; Amen.
