You are members of Christ

Often, religious theologians do much harm by making a doctrine of Scripture, when it is meant to be read as though Christ was talking to us. The Holy Bible is God’s Word, His voice to us. To treat the word of God as though it were just a book is a serious mistake. You must read it as though God was physically present, and He was speaking to you. Give it the attention you would give Christ, and trust in it.

John 16:13 “As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

Our text says God has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him. This is not a promise, we have it now; this includes your health. When I got the revelation about owning the word of God; I stopped quoting people for my healing. I read the words for myself as though God was standing in front of me and speaking to me. I came to the consciousness that I am a member of the body of Christ; I must not let sickness penetrate Christ’s body through me. I declared total freedom from the power of sickness and I renewed my mind regarding the word of God. If the word of God says “let the sick say I am healed”; declare immediately that “I am healed”. When Jesus sent out sicknesses; they obeyed because of His authority.

Father, I am a partaker of your divine nature. I cannot be defeated because defeat is not part of my nature. I forge through and I always win. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places, I know who I am in Jesus’ name; Amen.
