Do you know you have God’s nature?

Dou you know you have the nature of God? As a believer in Christ, here is what the Bible says:

Hebrews 1:2-3 “Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.”

When you read this portion of scriptures we realize that God had spoken to us by his son whom he has appointed heir of all things. God has placed everything in the hands of his son Jesus and has made Jesus the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person. This is where Jesus has been placed spiritually, but when we read from 2 Corinthians 5:17 we find out that we are in Christ. We are hid in Christ and our lives have been hidden in Christ. As Christ is the brightness of the glory of God, it infers that we are also the brightness of God’s glory. Without us in Christ and without the anointing in our lives the brightness of God will go hidden.

Christ has been made heir of all things and Romans 8:16,17 says “The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are God’s children. And if children, then heirs (namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ) – if indeed we suffer with him so we may also be glorified with him.” This means if you do not grant Christ access in your life, he cannot come in and transform you. But, when a child of God opens his/her mouth and make demands in the name of Jesus, he/she is taking a portion of his/her inheritance. This season is the time for the sons and daughters of God to arise and become heirs of what rightfully belongs to them. Jesus did not come to the world and died on the cross so that you should suffer, he did not die to start Christianity or a movement; Jesus died so that you may have life and have it to the full (John 10:10). When you go out today, be full of life and  manifest your divine nature. You have been recreated in the image of God.

Confession

I have the life of God in me in every fibre of my being. It is in my head, in my blood, in my cells and in my bones. The power of God is manifested in every area of my life. Strength is mine, the divine life is mine, the prosperous life is mine and favour is mine. The joy of the Lord is my strength, I am conscious of my nature in Jesus name. Amen.
