Agape-Love does not consider your weakness

You can easily tell when a person is functioning in love or out of love by simply observing his/her love walk. I found out that it is easier to lead someone who loves people to Christ than it is to lead someone who does not love people. Love is a revelation. If you walk in love you are walking in God and once you walk in God you cannot miss the mark or sin. This is what has been missing in many relationships and most people have gone by their feelings to determine if someone else loves them. Love is not a feeling, it is a revelation. In the Old

Love is not a feeling, it is a revelation. In the Old Testament, the children of God were asked to love their neighbours as they loved themselves. This means you could only do unto to others what you wanted it done to you. In the New Testament, we are commanded to love one another in the same measure that Christ loved us and gave himself a ransom for us. This is “agape” or the God kind of love.

Most people have been used to using faith to heal their bodies or faith to get a job but they have not used faith in their relationships.

In Galatians 5:6 the Bible says “For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith which works by love.”

This shows us that in order to exercise faith, it must work by love. Faith does not work by itself or for itself, faith works by love. It is time you exercise faith in your marriage by spicing it up with love. There is a portion of scripture which says anyone who does not love does not know God.

1 John 4:7-8 “My dear friends, we must love each other. Love comes from God, and when we love each other, it shows that we have been given new life. We are now God’s children, and we know him. God is love, and anyone who doesn’t love others has never known him.”

This is very powerful because when you walk in love you are able to relate to God, for God is love. Your marriage should not just be about feelings; it must be about love (agape – the God kind of love). With agape, we do not accept someone based on their performance, we just love everyone in spite of their shortcomings.

Pray this prayer aloud:

Father, I trust your word whoch says that “when I am weak, you are strong”. Your love is made perfect in my weakness. I am joyful this morning because I know that faith is working by love in my life. I push forward and press on until the perfect day in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
