You are free to act the word

Brothers and sisters in Christ, I want to reveal to you a mystery. The word of God is the script of your life. There is no other way of enjoying the blessings of God without acting the word. The Bible is also known as the SCRIPTures (or script-ures). It comes from the word script which is a written description of what actors should do on stage.  If you have a Bible in your hand, I want you to know that you have the script of your life with you, start acting your role.

James 1:22-25 “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed

When we study the text above, it says we should be doers or actors of the word and not hearers only. The only way to fully exercise your faith is when you start acting the word. actors The Bible says you are the light of the world, you are the salt of the earth, you are a king-priest and you are more than conqueror. That is your script to act on, so start acting as a king, as a victor and as a priest.

The scripture is your story that God has written concerning you, so start acting today, let God arise in you and let your enemies be scattered. Don’t be worried about the devil; he is already defeated so he cannot touch your toe. You know, when people watch movies, they go through suspense and get emotional because they do not yet know the script. But the actors don’t get emotional and worked up while watching their movies because they already know the script and what shall come next. You are an actor of the script that is in your hand and you should not be worked up or surprised when things happen to you because the scriptures say “all things are working for your good”. Jeremiah 29:11.

Pray this prayer aloud

Dear Lord, I thank you for the script of my life. I am excited to know from the scriptures that I am victorious in life. I will not fear what man shall do unto me because at the end of it all, I will still be standing in Jesus name.
