Be free from worries

Are you worried? Do things around you seem to be happening at a fast pace? Have you received a bad financial or medical report? Have you been labouring for someone without a fair reward? I have good news for you. As Christians, we should not be worried about anything because te Bible commands us not to be worried.

Philippians 4:6-7 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus

There is a striking revelation in the verse above. These are not promises that are made to the child of God, this is a picture of your life as a believer in Christ Jesus. It is a spiritual command and it is a law that works.

When the Bible says be careful for nothing, it means in the mind of God you are not supposed to be worried. Stop worrying today and start celebrating and thanking God.

I always remind Christians that the Bible says the fervent and effectual prayer of the righteous man or woman make tremendous power available (James 5:16). It did not say it is the crying or weeping of the Christian that makes tremendous power available but the effectual fervent prayer.

If you have been crying because of problems bothering you, I advise you to put your faith to work. Start confessing positively about your life; start praying fervently and singing songs of praise and before you know it, the wall that has been in your life for so long will fall down flat. Hallelujah!

Beloved in Christ, do not be worried about what you will eat, or drink, or wear for those who don’t know Christ worry about these things. But seek the kingdom of God first and His righteousness and all these things that the world seeks shall be added freely unto you (Matthew 6:31-34).

Talk yourself up today, rejoice today the whole world belongs to your Father and He has shared it with you (Ephesians 2:6).

Pray this prayer aloud:

Father I thank you for eternal life that is at work in me. I am not worried, I am a joyful child and I take authority today. I know who I am, I know what to do, I know what to say and the lines are falling for me in pleasant places in the name of Jesus. Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer write to us and we will pray for you and send you materials that will bless you.
