Who said “shut-up”?

Beloved in Christ, there is something powerful that you have which the world cannot receive; this thing is your tongue. There is power in your tongue that can cause a lasting change in your life. In Proverbs 18:21 the Bible says

death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruits thereof”.

Don’t be a quiet Christian because quiet Christians do not go far; be a talking Christian because your life goes where your mouth goes. Here is what the Bible says:

Malachi 3:16 “Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.”

01-speaking-to-one-anotherThe scriptural passage above is profound in that it shows us the mind of God when believers speak. When we speak often to one another about the goodness of God, the Bible says God listens, hears it and records it down in a book of remembrance. When you speak about God you are not just talking in the air, no; your words are carefully analysed and recorded for something great. This is why Jesus said for every idle/inoperative word that men may speak they shall give an account (Matthew 12:36).

The Bible encourages us to make confessions unto the name of Jesus (Hebrews 13:15).

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

The word confession is derived from a Greek word called “homologeo” which means “to say the same thing in agreement with what God had said”. When you study your Bible, don’t just read it in your mind. Select a few scriptures and read them out aloud to yourself. By so doing you are confessing what God has said concerning you.

The Bible says if the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth (Ecclesiastes 11:3).

I decree success in your life this month, I can see you making progress and achieving greater things in life. You are shining in your job and in your business today.

Pray this aloud:

Dear Lord, thank you for making me a talking spirit. I use my mouth to chat the course of my life. Where my mouth goes; my life goes. Whatever I say comes to pass. I am moving upward and forward in Jesus’ name. Amen

If you have prayed this prayer, write to us and we will pray for you and send you materials that will bless you.
