The word of God is beautiful. When I read passages of scripture such as Psalms 37:25, I feel like bursting into tongues and start shouting for joy.
Psalms 37:25 “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread”
David, the Psalmist, wrote this when he was old. I believe he lived beyond his time because this is still relevant today as it was then. He was writing a summary of the life of you and I in 2017. He said he has been a young man and now he is old he has never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children beg for bread.
As a born again, spirit-filled being, your future is written, your story is already established and you are just replaying what has been written concerning you. I want you to come to the consciousness that the reason you shall never be forsaken is because the life that you have as Christians is not yours.
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:20 when you were born again you were bought with a price and you are not your own. The owner of the life that you have will ensure that the life is properly maintained and nurtured.
Let me give you an example, if you were asked to take care of a car which is not yours and the fuel of the car got finished or the engines of the car broke down, will you run around confused and frustrated? No. You will not worry because the car is not owned by you. All you will have to do is to return the car to its owner to refuel and fix it. This is the same with a believer, suffering is not for you. You may be facing a career breakdown or marital difficulties. Run to Jesus and ask Him for help. He has the answer to all that you are going through.
Pray this aloud
Dear Lord, I thank you for trusting me with your life. I am conscious that the life I have is from you. Because it is from you, all things are yours and I know that my life is the best. I am flourishing in total freedom this year in the name of Jesus. Amen.
